The new Ogre Team

I dont know how far the development of this team is.

I was wondering if the Ogre team could not be a "redesigned Halfling" Team. Yes, i know, Halflings and Goblins are supposed to Suck... never liked that directive though.

Well what about an Ogre Team that looks something like this:

0-12 Halfling Runners
0-02 Ogre Throwers
0-04 Ogre Blitzers
0-01 Treeman Blocker (Big Guy)

not a suggestion just somehing that crossed my mind. Goblins are not that bad to play, but halflings could use some extra atractivity.

That means they are locked into a goblin postition on the roster.

0-8 Goblins
0-8 Ogres

Standard existing stats on both.
There have been changes though (I think) for official testing. Check Galak's site for the latest.

Yeah, putting selling minis before good rules is a silly move in my opinion.

Ogres banned from Goblin teams YES, Goblins banned from Ogre teams no.
Important difference.

An Ogre team should be (at the 16 playr level) 12 ogres and 4 Gobboes.
A Goblin team should be 14 Goblins (including 4 with questionable equipment

) and 2 Trolls.

Toby, there are zillions of comments in previous Ogre-Threads. Why not check them out first? Perhaps you could use the Search function once in a while, you've obviously missed the entire discussion and are completely out of touch to it.

Dang, Thadrin, I haven't agreed with your posts much lately (haven't posted my spoken comments though), but this post was just so perfect I had to agree with you 100%.

yep me too...gobs are supposed to suck, and no ogre would play for them no matter HOW MUCH you paid em!

however gobs are dumb and crazy and will play for anybody.

I know this has probably been said before & will likely arouse mirascael's ire, but... what exactly do Gobbos have lost on an OGRE team roster anyway? I liked the Gold edition Big Guy teams, just play them like they were and nuts to the Stunty suckers!
