Conceeding a match and paying off a loan

Post by Red Orc »

In our league you may borrow money from another team as long as you pay them back double the next game. If you are not able to do that, you get Thrudded!
Here is the situation. A team that owes 20k may conceed their next match. What would you do for the team that is owed the money? Take it out of the winner's double winnings, because the wording is "...gains all of the loser's money..." So the loser DID win money, but had to then fork it over to the winner. Or is the owed team just SOL?
I guess it boils down to who they fork over the money to first.

you conceed you lose all rights to that money, your dignity and your balls

conceeding is for wimps and they shouldn't be playing blood bowl!

there is a reason your better players leave on a 4+ who wants to play for a loser!

I'd say they are SOL. When you conceed, you give up all rights to any money you would have won, it all goes straight to the winner of the game, and never enters your grubby little hands.

Exactly...concession should have a major penalty...otherwise why play the game at all?

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.
