Updating old teams....

Apologises as this will have almost certainly been covered somewhere but as usual I'm months behind.

I was just wondering if there was a widespread method in use for bringing teams from 3rd edition and making them legal for the current rules.

Ie issues like....

* Star Players - Who used to be permanent on my rosta
* Allied Players
* SPP Rolls - Players who made skills increases but wouldn't have done, ie the SPP 31 instead of 26pt increase.

* Traits/Skills - Players who took traits before there were traits etc.

What methods have other people used?

Allied players - sold on for original purchase price+ 10k (or thereabouts) per SPP roll.

Skills - all skills kept. Excess rolls (such as at 26) mean no roll at next level when it is reached.

So even if they had a trait (which would have required a double) even though it wouldn't have when they rolled for it - they keep?

What about Star Players I just take back there fee? or just right them off?

missed that one...sorry...they lose the trait and pick a legal skill to replace it.
