These things, they happen. But it always hurts more when it happens against those damned Elves. :puke:

I just got done watching a couple of me league mates play a cup game in which 7 pairs of double skulls were rolled. Glad it didn't happen to me.

You need to admit now that Nuffle sucks! You know that this couldn't happen to you just out of coincidence, Nuffle just screwed you. Say it (Nuffle sucks) and you will feel much better.

We now return to your regular scheluded program.

Sorry but you can never compare to this guy I use to play with in flordia. He on a constant basis would roll 1 and 2. Week in and Week out. But he was one of the best players because he know he could roll for krap and made it so every roll he had a reroll and every skill that would increase the rolls( like pass or sure hands) he take. I think this proves this game is about 30 percent luck 70 percent skill at the game

Whereas I don't roll badly - my bad luck just has comic timing...

(and I failed 30% of GFIs at the WPS tournie!)

Luck can be like that - you have to play expecting the worst I think.

My friend had a funny rolling streak yesterday with his lizardmen. After failing to pick up the ball for most of the second half, he rolled 1 for MVP (player #1 had been killed in the match), 1 for winnings (totaling 30k) and 1 for his FF (-1)... :D

Sorry, it comes with the territory as a Nuffle cleric. The game was rediscovered by Dwarves, you know. In fact, before the Reformation, the church offered a handy flow chart to redemption. Question 14 was, "Are you an Elf? If yes, you are damned. If no, proceed to question 15."

Well, I would tell you here but then I would be accused of hijacking the thread by all the Nuffle loving wierdos, so just go to the NBA (that stands for Nuffle Blasphemer's Association) thread in the Off topic section and I'll explain it there. Thanks.

Talking about rolling one's aye?

I'm known in the league to have a problem picking the ball up (with elves). I hadn't played BB for so long, so it has just stuck to me after that.

My WE Thrower WITH Sure Hands managed to fail the pickup 5 turns in a row. Thats lousy 10 straight one's. You really should have seen the face on the one I was playing agianst, he just couldn't help laughing very loud.

Now tho, I pick up the ball, but I'm very good at fumbling it now. Funny thing is you learn alot from these things, and prepare for the worst much better than before. Now I'm always prepared for that fumble or fail to pick up the ball.

I guess that happens.

my orc thrower almost never misses a pass, but usually takes two rounds to pick up the ball.

I have seen a friend of mine fail to pick up the ball with his big handed mino and a RR (mino team).
those damn RR skills just cry for double ones.

oh, and talk about bad luck. last week I (former league leader, orcs) played against the worst player in the league (undead) and he managed to just about kick out my entire team... and not only with his PO mummy :(
