Any chaos and DE play (tactics, not just skills) books?

Post by JJB »

I want to improve my playing technique with chaos, and I wonder if there has been any proper playbooks around (online, in past issues of BB magazine...?) that might give useful ideas to take in.

Same for dark elves - I have just recently tried them and think I can do some fun stuff with them...

I would reccomend you use the search function, as tactics for most teams have been discussed, rediscussed, discussed again, and then a few more times.

If anything is still unclear, the post a question.

Remember, getting hints and tips from other BB's is useful, but at any given sunday, you can either win or lose.

And what tactic you should employ depends largely upon what tactics your opponents use. Nothing is set in stone.

Kadu-C, thanks for the info.

roysorlie, while you got a point, I don't agree with you as a whole:
there is a variety of techniques for each race one'd better apply, even though these include a huge combinations of tactics according to the opponent faced.

There is not as much randomness in Blood Bowl as you seem to suggest. I'd rather see BB more like chess, where the more tactics one learns and takes into account, the more chances one has to win. Of course one can always obtain freak rolls (like 4 or 5 double ones or double skulls in a row...), but I'm sure that this happens less often than one might think...

Thanks for that guide. I actually found it throught another thread. Very interesting stuff in it, although I don't agree with it all.
