I was asked to do a league logo and after I finished it I hit upon another idea... a fully 3d shield league logo and this is the WIP....
What do you guys think? Would something like this be of interest to anyone else...not saying I can do everybody's but could probalby come up with several original versions of them.
Heck, the software is even capable of outputting avi movies of the logo rotating, etc...
Cheers!

Another Work in Progress for someone who requested it but hasn't gotten back to me. Comments are appreciated as I try to get them looking even better.
Cheers! (as Usual)

The ideas keep coming... 3d stadium model this time...not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I like the 3d granite 'Bloodbowl' myself.

Very nice logo. Same question as Pug: what 3d tool are you using? If we send textures/graphics can you plug them into the design?

I use mostly google sketchup (but the pro version). The 3d text is created by a small separate program I found called Elefont. It creates a 3d base model from any ttf text, which I can import to sketchup. then add texture and place.
You can use any textures you want from within sketchup... so importing them is not a problem.
My avatar symbol was made the same way...
Cheers!
