Thank you Goldbaek! About the time:
1 our after dinner, from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.!
About the brush: I use a Tintoretto seires 334 n.2 martora kolinski, very cheap and durable, about the colors I use gw and andrea colors.
About the steps: I do a good basecoat of boltgun metal for metal parts, a grey for the white parts and a mix of andrea color blue, gw ice blue and gw hawk torquise. After that, I proceed highlighting the metal parts with mithril silver, first with a mix 50%-50% and after with a profiling (yes one at time) for the scales. For the white, I simply apply a wash in the recesses with a darker grey, after I go for two stages of highlight adding simple white. For the armour, the most complex part, I do the shadows with a pair of washes in the recesses with a dark blue first and a mix of dark blue and black later in the deepest ones. For the highlights, I add first a 30% of beige to the mix, a second step with another 30% of white, a further step with 50% of white and a final profiling with almost pure white. FOR EACH STEP DILUITION WITH HALF PAINT AND HALF WATER so the layers will blend softly and the final result is smoother. If you want to have a better one, try to put some washes of 20% colour and 80% water with some reds and purples in the recesses it will give a very interesting hue
