Finished with the last throw-ra, so, technically,

UNDEAD CORE TEAMS FINISHED!!!!!

That being Necros, Undead and Khemri.... Technically finished 'cause they are fieldable... though I do want to paint about four better replacement minis (ghouls and wights) and this winter a new undead elf is being produced at Impact Miniatures that I will fit in somewhere.... :orc:

So now I am at the crossroads.... Do I go one of two short distances and either a) paint the spare undead, or b) paint 3 pestigors, one rotter, and a beast to field Nurgle...

or

Paint a full-ish Vampire team...

or

Paint six skaven, three gobbo specials, and 2 trolls, for a goblin/underworld combo...

or

Paint three Ogres and two trolls for the Ogre, Part-of-Gobbo option...?

Yeah, I don't have nearly enough to do.... :orc:

Finally finished painting my Goblin team! pictures to come when basing is done too :-) In fact think I'll do a huge picture session of all my teams.

So now onto the Willy Halfling team I got for my birthday, I've cleaned them up, primed and stuck them to bases. I have to say they really are the most amazing team and so glad I got them. So much character and detail to them! Just worried my painting skills won't show them at their best :-(

Yesterday paint log:
- painted grey stones in 2 cemetery wall sections (display tray decoration) and applied black wash.
- painted transport/display tray edges black
Not very productive but that's how it goes...

When I'm done with this tray, it's back to the last dwarfs for me. 5 line-dwarfettes to go for a 12-dwarf squad (death roller included)...

Jamming on a Norse team for Zlurpee Bowl. I have a feeling I'm going to be dizzy on Dull-coat fumes on the drive over!

Nice!

I have the same team and I had the same idea for the positionals, but I'm still looking for wings for the helmets... where did you get yours?

They are High Elf shield symbols. You can find them cheaply on eBay for eg.
I got the idea from Sir Skofis Dwarf Team.

Since the last post have mostly painted the "fifth rotter"... a Gaspez rotter with horn.... The biggest challenge is that he is mostly naked, two knee pads, a shoulder pad and spilled guts covering the jumblies.... Successive dark washes and highlighting seem to be promising.... The guts turned out just lovely... :puke:

Rode my bike several miles round trip to replace my expended can of dullcote... now I can finish sealing the throw ras....
