The completely converted Lizardman team FINISHED!! (Well...)

Ok, so I took them to the Pearly Kings & Queens tourney (where they came 19th out of 56

) and I've finally got around to taking some pics.

Any and all comments / suggestions welcome on how to improve the 'next batch' as I still have enough bits with those two boxes I bought to create another team.....

Stuff like:

'Should the entire team be the same skin colour?'

'Are those pads on the Sarus good enough or should both sides be the same?'

'I see the score marker, the frog right? But where are the lizard re-roll markers.....?' (damn you McDeth

)

Colors look nice and bright...I suppose more variation with "skin tone" or scale color could be a visual addition...give each one more individuality at any rate...the bases and armor draw them all together, so there would be no worries about losing any cohesiveness. Thanks for posting the pic!!

I thought that's what the Frog was.

Seriously, they look fantastic, and I like the shoulder pads on the saurus. The only thing I would suggest is a little varity on the skin tones, as Grundgen said the uniforms pull the team together. But that's just me, there's really nothing wrong with the way they are now.

I like the shoulder pads and the feel of the team. I think you should be more creative with the skin colours such as tiger stripes etc. Good job though, 19/56 is good.

well, saurus with corsets, skinks without helmets, no kroxigor, no coach, no wizards (but a toad spell working)...

and is the best lizardmen team I ever seen

But seriously, this team came around because I think the new plastics are very cool and I didn't want my team to all have skulls on their heads as if they were calling down misfortune (like the 'official BB miniatures).

Personally I like a uniform skin tone.

They look really cool, and the shoulder pads are great, I've just bought some placcy skinks to do the same with, if they turn out as good as that i'll be well pleased.

Your necros look fine as well mate....

So is the general consensus that for the next batch I should:

a) Not make the Saurus 'sumo-style'?

b) Make the skin colours a little different, even going to the extent of completely different colours?
