Not nearly as nice as the new Ogre figs from heresy, but interesting. Some BB conversion potential.

Ogre Ironguts:

Yetis:

One of these on an Ogre team may offer an interesting alternative, not nec. as a special type of player, but a unique looking figure.... Not to mention on Norse teams.

If those links don't work, try:

And a couple of Gnoblars. These pics have been here before but I just think that they're cool. :D I plan on using them for my BB team intead of goblins.

I really like the Gnoblars, maby I'll use them instead of hobgolins if I make a CD team.

I had a look at the new Ogre Kingdom plastics at Gamesday Canada today, and I have to say that as far as bloodbowl goes, I am not a big fan. They just look so bulky. The Gnoblars are cool though, although VERY small. They are about as big as the plastic skinks were in the last incarnation of Lizardmen.

Plus, they're all plastic. I hate using plastic players in Blood Bowl; knock on the board once and your entire team takes a dive.
Easier to convert? I don't have problems converting metal minis to my heart's content; no difference there. Metal limbs are even easier to bend than plastic ones which just snap and splinter.
Also, those Ogres have double-handed weapons, this results in arm poses awkward to use for BB.

ANd those Gnoblars... what the hell are they supposed to be? Long-nosed Goblins wearing dishrags. On their heads. Yay.
