Sharpen your brushes gentlemen! I might even buy some new paints too!

The good news.

You mean we slog it out to impress the public with our painting job - and all we get is the minis we paint?
Well - at least it'll encourage us to paint our miniatures within 2 months of getting them

hm, i could be interested because of the pre-released minis for my collection.... but i have to think about it.
I send some pict quite a time before for the fanatic website, but never got an answer. Maybe not good enough for this ?

well, I would love to get some early pre-release stuff, but given the fact that:
I'm planning on calling it a day on the pro-painting
GW have f*cked me over in the past
I'm not sure I'm good enough anyway..
I'll give this one a miss...

I´m, too ... if they want it this way. I read it as for single minis coming, not whole teams !!!
But , after some thinking, i will miss this, too. I got so much projects for myself like a new converted BB team for the next years tournaments and the GD2005, than painting the new released GW human team next year, a homemade pitch, a diorama " orcs on holiday ", ....
well, I´m " full " !

is this just an attempt by GW to save money and do away with the 'Eavy Metal team I wonder?
I hope not, I have friends that work in the GW studio...

a kind of outsourcing ? Ups, i dont knew, how much a ´eavy metal painter gets per hour or mini ? But it will be cheaper for fanatics this way for sure ! And they will find get a lot of new talents, too.
