Original Orc Color scheme?

Just got a plastic orc team that I won of ebay. I'm tempted to paint them up in the gouged eye color scheme, but I have no reference of it.
Does anyone have the painting guide that came with the game?
Thanks,

That makes me change my mind about my future orc color scheme.
I'm looking for a color scheme based on bad moon yellow, but I don't want to use blue, black ou purple...
Maybee red, but red seems too frequent for orcs...
They vill certainly have warpaint (blue I think)...
some advices for me Traveller?

gouged eye - red black and white cheques with nice cut eye logo.
pretty sure just about every possible orc kit must have been painted somewhere but i would go for a blandish kit. the skin is 99% green and i would try to remeber that if regards to what colour the uniform is. bearing that in mind i painted a two-tone blue kit for my team to fit with the gren skin.
possible great kits
- black and silver (oakland stylee)
- purple ( its a matching green idea) probably chuck yellow trim in
- red and black (classic)
- yellow, red, blue and white trim (nice bright choice)

Orange works really well I think as well as dark red or brown. Alternately you could go for pink

If you don't mind getting the 2nd place in every painting contests, you can try blue and yellow...

hehehe... so, a dark red and orange/yellow mix served me well...

This year GD i saw a orcteam painted nearly the exactly colorschema like mine.
Ah, BTW, about painting "winning colorschema"...
... the painter, who won the the Inquisitor Category Golden Demon at the German GD this year used nearly exactly the same colors and drawings at his "Lady Jena" like Steve Buddles for his bronze winning entry a year before at the UKGD ...

hm, coincidence ?!

Hey Traveller, what gauge wire did you use for your converted orc team, for the face masks?
Thanks.

gauge wire, hm , if i´m right, it´s 1/2 of a mm. Please dont ask me, how much this is in inch or whatever ?!
The wire i got from a hobby store... normal this wire is used for binding plant or flower together...
Normal i use paperclips...

I recently (about six months ago) painted my 2nd edition Orc team in an orangey brown (a bit like Cleveland Brown helmet colour) and white kit. I'll post pics of these in a week or two.

I painted an orc team in the 'Orcland Raiders' boxed set colours a few years ago (before I got my digi camera) for a contracted paint job.
The minis turned out easy to do in that colour scheme - and I believe that the final paint job was better than that on the box. But don't take my word for it, judge for yourself:
I have further (more detailed) images if enough people are keen for me to rename all the files (so they can be seen on this forum!)
