did they ever do any side-by-side shots to get an idea of how big those ogres were? does anyone know if they can be coaxed onto a 25mm round base?

They pretty much match the Official models for size, you'd get em onto a 25mm base as they are in a running pose so only one foot needs attaching.

er... yes, probably..

as McD says, you "could" put them on a 25mm base because they are standing on one foot, but they would pose problems to try to fit players around them easily in a cage for instance...

Big Boris is a much better scale for "strong but not preposterous" I would say..
