Fairly basic troll (Ripper mini)

Finally got around to snap a pic of my most recent addition to the much too small collection of "finished minis" in my mini cupboard. =)
I'm happy with it, as I paint for the joy of playing with painted minis and not for display purposes. Figured I'd post it here cause I didn't find much troll pics back when I was looking around for painted trolls/Rippers.
I'm using him as a rookie troll on my orc team... or any other team where a troll can come in handy. Shit pictures, but what the hell... =D
Edit: Oh btw, hiya'll again... it's been a while. ;D Hoomin... minis? ;P

lovely paint job.. really nice indeed...
I would have done the scales a different colour just for some contrast, but it's a beautiful paint job on a model I never really liked... maybe time I got myself one of them trolls...

Nice Job, and these are pretty good pics too. I really like the detail work on the face. Great skin too.

Great!
If this is a fairly basic paintjob I´d like to see some of your good ones.

Hoomin: No problem mate... haven't moved yet. =)
Norse: Yeah, I know what you mean... the colour scheme isn't exactly what I had in mind when I started. But I'm thinking exactly the same thing with contrast. I actually wanted a more bone white belly but got started on the whole rotting flesh thing. Agree fully with the contrast though.
Rest of you: Thanks for the encouragment... I just see a bunch of mistakes and short comings. Easy to get too self critical I guess.
Cheers!
