I have decided to start a Goblin team for our league and have aquired the troll. I used the Mountain Troll Reaper mini. It is a WIP (work in progress) and would like to hear feedback.
His name is Cain:
Next week's paycheck i'll get the other troll (suggestions on a model for that are welcome) and the rest of the team.
Hope you like!

If youre going for that sort of look for your trolls, id suggest one of the GW LOTR trolls, I always thought they would look good as BB players if converted well. Some of the new ones come with some armour too.

I don't like the mini
ugghhh
the skin looks realy bad and the yellow isn't nice I think.
it doesn't look like a bb player I think.
and is that a big base??
then it is HUGE !!!! !!
the purple looks cool though
and please don't use the lotr trolls, they aren't nice I think

Boy, aren't you just a ray of sunshine.
I wasn't particularily found of the way the pictures turned out. I had to over sharpen the top one. Looks better in person.
But, good or bad, every comment is appreciated.

great paint job. I think brighter skin tones would have been better.....this guy looks pretty serious!!
I think my taste prefers the more bright blues and greens u see in some of the blood bowl trolls.
Great Job and better than anything I could do

And Djengis....it just looks similar to a LOTR troll....thought the same thing myself.....but he said it's a reaper mini.

Yes, i welcome any feedback, my comment was in jest, but criticism without a suggestion to better the model is just plain tactless. IMO
Tell me what you think can be done to improve the areas you dont like. That would be a more constructive critique. Then, i can apply or disregard your comments depending on what i may agree with.
I am not the kind of painter that leans toward the flashy, bright , frilly colors. As you may have seen with my models in the past (i.e. My Chaos Team) i tend to go with more life-like realistic colors. I'm not even sure my Goblins will be a bright green!
I am always looking for ways to better my skills, so please expand on the critiques if they are on the negative side.

I like the model. (personally I'd like to see him on a round base

)And a LOTR troll should compliment him nicely. Beautiful work, as I always come to expect from you.

All my Big Guys are on square bases. It helps them stand on the grass flocked pitches we use in our League.
BTW, he is on the same size base as my BB Minotaur. Here's a comparison pic with my Mino and a beastman:
