nice tips for scenery

just took a quick look at this seemed cool, thought other maybe others interseted in it.
I'm sure you could make a tree base with wire and solder but the tech. for the leaves is great

I've used this technique - it's best to either spray-paint the steel wool before sticking it to the branches or use paint as the adhesive (and re-paint the trunk). Otherwise the shiny steel wool shows through and ruins the effect.

After 2 posts about the "THUMB" I looked, ok it's not a THUMB it's a "NUB"
