Impact! releases 30mm round flat plastic bases!

Post by GalakStarscraper »

A lot of gamers have discussed how 40mm round bases don't fit well on many of the board games played by our customers but that 25mm bases are just too small to put large players on.

After many months of work Impact! is happy to announce that we have managed to have multi-purpose 30mm round flat plastic bases produced and they are now on sale in our store.

http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.p ... id=SP_PB30

You can get 15 of these bases for 1 GBP or $2 USD.

Sweet! I loved the size of the 30mm Warmachine-style bases, but I'm a stickler for team uniformity and the rounded edge just doesn't go with the rest of a team's bases. I'd forgotten you had mentioned a while back wanting to do these eventually, and I was even thinking of just making a couple myself in resin or something -- glad I don't have to go through that hassle! :)

I'll be making an Impact! order sometime in the next couple months and a pack of these was definitely just added to the list.

Hey Tom can you get a picture of one of the deadwoods on these bases. Just want to get an idea of how they would fit before I buy a bunch of these.

Perfect timing as I just ran out of monster bases.

Um. I see the purpose of the original post and asking for a size comparison but all the ooohs and aahhhhs are just silly.

Friends with a bunch of bootlicks. I think they want to tell you that you did a great job. You did but knowing that doesn't change the fact that you need to sell some bases. If they really want to encourage you they need to go but your stuff.

Me? I'm not buying. You already know you did a good job. I don't need to say anything. That is anything except why waste your time writing?. Go buy some.

I'm out of town on a business trip for a couple weeks at least. So I will work on this request ... just might take a bit as I don't have an assembled unpainted Deadwood hanging around at this moment (so I need to put one together first).

Can one of the impact guys tell me if the new Black Rock bull centaurs fit on the 30mm bases? Do they come with a base?

Yes they should fit on a 30mm base. We include a 30mm base with all of the larger figures we sell on our site. (Ice Troll, Heresy Ogre, Ulfhedner, PF Minotaur, all 3 Hausien monsters, Terrorpin, Deadwoods (all 4)). We plan to continue this with the new larger figures we are adding to the store.
