Airbrushing. How do you do it?

Just picked up an airbrush for mini painting and wondering who else uses them and how? Any good resources out there I should check out?
Undercoating and base coating large areas seem like the obvious applications. Also zenithal basecoating to give some indication of highlighting.
Anything else they can be used for?

I had a go on one once, water down the paint's or thin them with thinner.

You got to clean them a lot.

I think you can use them for spray tanning too. Not sure if this is true or because I was watching Henry Danger episode the other day.

There's a load of tutorials on you tube.

This guy may come across as a bit of a meathead oddball but his videos are both useful and unintenionally hilarious.

Hahaha! Knew who that was without clicking, just from the description. Some decent videos but a depressingly low signal to noise ratio.
