I did a search on "amazon" at the GW site and all it came back with was "Amazon Coach" with no picture, so I suppose that is it.

Funny, it seems like they use the same body for all the Amazons, just change their hands and equipment.

I guess I'll stick with my original idea of using the Mordheim Serpent Priestess for a "coach" fig. I was thinking of getting the Amazon Mordheim figs anyway to mix/match them with parts from BB Amazons to make a more dynamic looking team.

Has anyone already done this?

Mordheim Amazons are nice minis for Head Coach, Apo or Wizards.
However I'm not sure that they will suit well as players.

BB amazons were made with the oldish mordheim amazons as basis ..henze the similar poses and sometimes weird hands

And the old Mordheim Amazons were a training project (sculpting practice) which explains why they are... Erm... Not so very nice (can't think of a nicer way to put it

).
The new Mordheim Amazons are pretty cool (made by Gary Morley) but if I'm gonna do Amazons they'll be converted Sigmarite Sisters (the original ones who are also by that talented Mr. Morley, because the newer models suck big time

)

I use the Mordheim amazons as coaching staff, but I still need to paint them.

yeah .. talented he is ...

he still needs training then ??
