On the weather table does the result 'Sweltering Heat' -players roll to see if they pass out- affect the Death Roller? eg if he rolls a 1 (i think its a 1) he/it is taken off the feild the same as normal players. We had a big dispute one night over this. One person saying yes its the driver thats passed out, the other saying no its a machine and cant pass out.

I'd say player is overwhelmed and off he goes, otherwise if he wants to keep him on the field roll for direction randomly as there is no one controlling the machine.

Just tell him that the Deathroller's engine overheated and won't start.

...if he keeps arguing, insist that the Deathroller's engine won't be fixed until he soaks the mini overnight in coolant... :smoking:

The damn machine hasn't got a will of its own nor the ability to just move around. Of course there's a dwarf controlling (ie a player), and since you must roll for exhaustion for all players on the field, sweltering heat also applies to the death roller.

The driver is off. And you cant separate the driver from his engine so...
it dont appears on the field.

I'd only allow the Deathroller to play if your opponent has modeled a sunshade and huge fan to keep the driver cool

Seroiusly though, if your opponent wants to field it in sweltering heat let him, but tell him the driver is still to hot, and all the deathrller can do is sit in a square and take up a player on the pitch (IE he only has 10 to move rather than 11)
