Unsure about player values/

I have recently updated my and friends teams to living rulebook 5, and was wondering if a player has taken perminant damage to a stat (e.g -1 on av) does his value go down?

No, sadly, if a player suffers an injury which causes a stat decrease, his value stays the same.

This acts as an incentive to retire crippled players, especially if they have not gained any skills yet.

Not many injuries will cause a stat increase
I believe decrease is what the helpful Mr Smeborg meant...

and he's quite right, there's no greater incentive to retire a player than a -ST injury!
