Probably a stupid question but...

I've just started a small league with a couple of mates, all of us don't have that much expierence. After playing around with the dice app from ninjahamster, I think we've misread something. When rolling to break armour, say my opponent has AV8. Do I have to roll a 8 or a 9 to break armour? The way we've been playing is that you have to roll an 8.

Also I seem to remember that when fouling, you get a +1 on the diceroll for fouling and then add assists. But I can't find it in the rulebook anymore, was this changed?

For armour rolls you need to exceed the armour value. Roll 8 to break armour 7 for example.

As for fouling the rules are the same I believe with the addition of +1 for each bloke assisting.

You no longer get the +1 for the fouler though, it is only for the assists

Guess I've got some explaining to do on the next league night, Killed a witch elf fouling (wouldn't have busted armour without +1 for the fouler), killed a blitzer with a snotling blocking and gave -ag to a lineman last game. None of witch would have happened if we aplied the rules properly

I think I'll offer him a rematch

Hehe, it was an honest mistake, as long as your all mates ity should be taken as that, a mistake

Yeah, I'm not worried about that. But losing 1-2 of my ogres, and having 2 of you're best players killed made him a bit sad to say the least

But as you say, we're all good friends so we'll sort it out. Live and learn

Just blame it on hard frozen wintery pitches... was giving +1 to armour rolls for that week only before under-soil heating was installed by some fire wizards
