Blood bowl undergoes a rules review every october. Currently the khemri are experimental and in a testing stage. The rules will then be up for review in october. Based on the testing they will be either made offcial in some format, or will stay at experimental for another year. Chances are that one of the tested version will be made into the official roster, though I doubt that the experimental rules that were printed for them in i think bbmag3 will be used, but rather something different to keep them balenced.

This is the same for the vampire and the necromantic teams and the undead team will be removed from the game in its current state.

Because GW knew I'd buy them. :D The current roster seems to be imbalanced, according to most who've played them. I have yet to put mine together yet. You have to do all the work for the skeletons, and thats 10 out of 12 for the team. But I can't wait to put them together, I've got a Pharoah theme too. :smoking:

Great. That means my current Blood Bowl undead team will no longer be playable. :pissed: just like what happened with my Undead Fantasy army. When are they going to leave the Undead alone? I mean you are a necromancer. Why couldn't you have raised the types of undead you wanted for your team?

I plan on allowing the old Undead roster in one of my leagues ... ask your commish ... he's the only one you need to convince.

I am going to do the same. Personally, I would make an argument to the BBRC to at the very least make the current Undead team an Undead Pact team. They are not represented in the current pact teams and when you consider it thats pretty much what they are.

One way or another though I will always keep that option in my leagues.

Not that would be interesting ... an example using the MBBL rules to the team:

0-12 Zombie 30k
0-12 Skeleton 30k
0-4 Human Thrall 40k

Allies: Khemri (no Mummies), Necromantic

Team is allowed one each Mummy and Vampire

Rerolls: 80k

So a sample full team might be:

4 Thralls
1 Blitz-Ra
1 Werewolf
1 Mummy
1 Vampire
2 Skeletons
6 Zombies

Interesting ... .... however, not quite what I think you had in mind.

The team from the BB Mag:

The teams that the BBRC has the MBBL testing (doesn't mean these will become the official rosters; just means its a POSSIBLE change for the official one)

thanks Galak. I think a combonation of the 2 might be best. somewhere in the middle. not sure why takin skelies away though. not sure why a werewolf be a catcher unless it's the "go get the ball, boy" thing :P personally I think give them BT instead of catch & it be good

Having seen a picture of the new werewolf model at the BB tourney, there's no way that thing can be a catcher - it looks almost Big Guy size :o

It wasn't to the same scale as the other images...

Official Khemri Miniatures

Because there are official Blood Bowl figures, it is a safe assumption that the Khemri team will become official.

They are at the moment 'experimental'. This is basically a chance for any glaring problems with the team, through playtesting, to be resolved before they become official.

(For example, Piling on with 4 Mummies).

Once those are resolved, expect the Khemri team to become official, along with those other teams which have miniatures (sch as the ogre team)

What that means for the existing Undead team, well they have official miniatures too - so I'd expect them to be around for a while yet.

JJ said the Undead team were being retired in Oct/Nov when Vamps, Khemri & Necro lists become official.

Kind of sucks for the NAF coaches that have gathered ranking points for the undead... I would prefer keeping the old undead team too (in addition to the three new teams), for there's nothing wrong with it.
