Hi folks,

When a player holding the ball is pushed back and knocked over, or fails a dodge, does the ball scatter from the original square that they were in, or the square that they fall into?

Thanks,
James

We scatter it from the square they fall into. It's knocked out when you go prone.

That's the way we ended up doing it but I can't find any clear advice in the LRB.

My reasoning was along the same lines as snots, and also that when using the Strip Ball skill the blocked player is pushed, then the ball scatters.

well the strip ball skill says that the ball scatters from the square they are pushed to and page 12 says that a player who is knocked over will then drop the ball and it scatters, so that means it scatters from the square htey are knocked down in.

Thats what we decided, that the block happens, then the player is knocked over (or the ball stripped) and scatters after the effects of the block (i.e. from the square the player is pushed back to).

Don't think I made that entirely clear in my above answer

I guess we all agree about this then :D
