Worst players

Post by SisterRay »

Well, every team has its stars and heroes. But what are your worst players you've kept in your team, either due to a lack of better replacements or just because you don't have the heart to ditch them?

I have a Dwarf Longbeard who got Dirty Player as his first skill and then aged and lost -1ST. I just couldn't sack the poor bugger... And he managed to get kicked off for stunning an opponent, and quite naturally got the MVP for the match. I am never getting rid of him now...

You don't have to be strong to kick a guy when he's down ;)

In our league's All Star team, one of my players actually won a spot for "worst lineman." His statline?

Suck (Skaven Linerat) 7 3 2 7 (N) - 0 star player points in over 12 games.

i had a guy named "bill walsh"...wood elf line elf. i named him that because it was clear early on that he was destined for coaching. in his first game he got SI, -ST. His first game back, he gets -AV SI....but the funny thing is he got the MVP both times, so he gets a skill.

now this was old 3rd ed...crazy ass wood elves with star treemen, so he took right stuff, just so i would have something suicidal to do with the guy on the last turn, in the hopes of that 1 in a million score...in the meantime if he died, no problem...and in the meantime, i was saving up money for his replacement.

he never scored that way, but did manage to survive to see his coaching days. great stuff. :)

My Dwarf team httep://w1.182.comhem.se/~u18212887/tsh/roster-tvl.htm
have an ogre. So far he has missed two of five games with injuries, picked up a niggle, and gained no SPPs. He has also managed to Bonehead three turns in a row, allowing a bull centaur to gallop straight past and mug my ball carrier.

Does my Treeman in fumbbl count? He hasn't suffered any injuries but he have scored 1 cas in 8 games...

Well another favourite was Jordell Freshbreeze in 3rd edition. Managed to break his neck three times...

Ag3... Natural lineman.

Blood Bowl game - $60
Cost of a Human Team - $40
The look on your opponents face as his one-turn scorer gets taken down by a thrown rock from the fans – Priceless.

Any of the 3 Blitzers on my LPL Norse team. Between them, in 4 games they've managed 10 SPP's (in a league using the EXP rules).

And no, none of them has gained a skill :(

My friend had a couple of -1ST goblins in his goblin team that were pretty useless. Then we adopted the new secret weapon rules and they became ball & chain fanatics...

I think the most useless player I ever had was a -STR -MV black orc with no skills. A 3str player with 3 mov is about as useless as it gets. :)

The Thor Rentev Family. They were my Norse cathcers. Every time they got a skill, they died in the next game because of a failed Go For It over the endzone.

in my current league team, my orc thrower with accurate was awarded a handicap table MVP, gained a level, got block... and got -1Ag :pissed:
I am right now building up a second thrower so I can ditch the first one.

oh, did I just mention that I hate aging?

I had a human thrower, Sean-Claude DeFuz, one of the worst players I ever had.

In one match he tried a quick pass and first rolled a two. I used pass to re-roll this result and then he rolled a 1 and fumbles the ball into the crowd. After the crowd throwed the ball back in exactly on the thrower he failed the catch. Next turn he wasn't able to pick up the (using sure hands and without tackle zones).

He played ten games and gets 2 completations but he tried about 15. But then he gets three touchdowns an MVP a cas. in one game. After that game he aged and gets -1 AG :pissed:

:) A friend of mine got AG+1 and AG-1 for the same player simultaneously.

I have a lineelf on one of my Fumbbl teams, that got fouled in the second turn of thier first game. He got a niggle. After the MNG he then niggled four games in a row, finally showing up for thier seventh game.
