On a doubles roll I think that I'd go with Leap along with some of the other people who have posted previously to me. You probably won't get another player with Block, Strip Ball, and AG 4 and this is the perfect kind of character you want to have Leap. I wouldn't take Dodge given that Leap with AG 4 will probably provide just as much mobility.
On a normal skill roll I'd probably take Guard or Tackle myself, but if you really want to take Dodge on a doubles roll then I think that Sure Hands would be fine. It will give you a very hard to take down ball carrier who is immune to Strip Ball. I guess that Sure Hands with Leap could also be a good combo, being able to jump into a mosh pit and try to pick up the ball with a reasonable chance of success... I think it depends if that's your play style.

Tackle is a fine offensive skill, too, making it harder for the opposing team to get closer to your ball carrier. It's also good for being able to knock down Dodgy players on the opposing team, which you'll do on offense and defense. But maybe this is just me playing against too many Elf and Amazon teams...kaboom wrote:i play him in offense, so I NEVER will choose tackle for him.

Probably a good decision.kaboom wrote:i'll choise guard for my others blitzer, not for my super star!

Bah you're thinking too simply. tackle is useful all the time. how many turns on offense OR defense do you not ever hit anybody? does your opponent have less dodge just because you have the ball?kaboom wrote:i play him in offens, so I NEVER will choose tackle for him.
Tackle is always good to have, esp on a guy with ag4 because he can get to where the guy with dodge is. and if he happens to have the ball, you would have tackle AND strip ball so just about no matter what happens, the ball is coming out of there!
