How do the rules talk about the Skills handing out... Is it 1 trait or 1 double... If the former you could push it and give 2 of your Blitzers Catch... That would give you a good scoring threat (Give the thrower Accurate or Strong Arm). Maybe bending the rules somewhat, but would be very potent!

Gk.

Skills acquisition rules vary from tournament to tournament - the most common is the 1 normal skill after each game given to a player of your choice, who hasn't already got one.

But initially when generating the team, I thought it was 4 skills handed out, one of which could be the trait... Is there any problem using 2 skills to give the blitzers Catch? Or does that count as using a trait?

Gk.

if thats the side you end up with change the skill balance, too much gusrd to start. Give one of the Black Orcs Piling On, Another Block, Tackle to a Blitzer and Dirty Player to a Goblin.

Also drop a re-roll for a Lineman

Sorry I didn't check the initial post.

I would think that "trait" means a double so you could only give 1 player a skill from a group they normally don't have access to.
