Mins

Post by Nermal »

i can understand your idea of troll over min but i just love them. the old wild animal rule of only going crazy on a 1 was simular toi the bone head rule. but this one is not so hot.

i just like mins though. as posted somewhere else on this site if you are really into your team and your models you can connect more to your game.

Ignore Ian!

Post by Babs »

As a very (I amaze myself with my record) successful CD coach,

Ignore the whisperings of the pointy ears. Listen to the bellows of the Bull Centaurs.

Don't play reactive football to the elves - tehy'll kick your butt all over town.

If you're kicking, make sure that you remember the old addage 'The best defense is a good offense'.

Send someone to get the ball carrier. Focus on the ball, and make sure that you hit the player with it whenever you can. I always split my Bullcentaurs. one into their half - and the other as mopup crew in case any elves get close enough to my endzone to score.

I always try to get to the thrower _before_ the throw. That way, there's not much worry about advancing the ball downfield - as it's already downfield!

Use your hobgoblins wisely. They make excellent ball fetchers - and don't be afraid to pass the ball _backwards_ into a safer location once you've hit the ballcarrier.

The trick is to exploit the enemies weaknesses. The moment you try to start dodging against an elven team, they have you as you're playing _their_ game, not yours. PLay to your strengths.

Like me, you like a fast moving rapid game with the Chaos Dwarves. It can be done, but expect to still meet elves with a fist in a gauntlet. it's what you have over them.

If you're after some simple CD ideas, head to my website and shoot to the tactics section.
