Chaos Pact Play book - Plasmoid
So we don't like tentacles on the Mino? Puts him in a spot to throw a block most turns. Add in stand firm after a second skill or block after another doubles and it seems to me he might be kinda useful...never losing his tackle zones...but then I have not yet had the chance to play a pact team. That was my plan for him, though, if he rolled doubles.

A Mino with SF, Guard and Juggernaut is still a nice threat for any sideline and he is able to open an hole in every defense. But you have to protected him ofc, one Marauder should always on his side.

I think Tentacles are an awesome doubles pick for a mino. It will help him keep victims near, and it will help him catch opponents for him to surf.

In principle sure Tents is good on a Pact Mino but using a double is a massive cost when you want Block and Claw also.
The Chaos Mino is much better getting Tents and Claw on normal rolls but how many good Chaos teams use one? Oh that's right none, so it is quite a moot point really.

Re: Chaos Pact Play book - Plasmoid
why would you want tentacles on your weakest big guy? Yeah on chaos maybe, but to waste a double for your mino, no thanks. Troll yes, Ogre maybe, Mino no way in hell. He is there to inflict damage and surf the odd stupid player that forgets to watch out for frenzy. You certainly do not want to leave your mino in tackle zones all the time, they are only av8, no block tents, get knocked over by one dice blocks for fun.
Plus the mino is only a stop gap in Pact until your CPOMB'd up. Definately no need for tents on this player imo when you have two big guys that are both better at the job because of av9, thick skull or av9 regen.
