Why standfirm is better for a Troll Slayer than Stand Firm?

His Blackorc Blocks my Troll Slayer with 2 die his coice:
Pushback, Skull - Reroll is used
Pushback, Both Down...

My Slayer is NOT pushed back. I BLOCK his Orc with 2 die my choice (with an assist and a lucky dauntless roll) and open the cage.
THen I have the Blitz for a other player.

Having Fun

Post by Athanasius »

Not terribly motivated anymore, just having fun with this.

Your black orc blocks my Slayer, he rolls Skull, Push and rerolls. This time he gets Push, Both Down, and chooses Push (or else he would fall).

My Slayer is pushed, and I choose to pushed right next to the ball carrier. I put players next to the other cage members (one of whom is a Black Orc, as I remember) so they can't assist and two BLOCKS later (Frenzy don't cha know) my Slayer has shoved the ballcarrier out into the open. If I had put Guarding players next to the cage, the second block has two dice my choice. On the odd chance I haven't put the guy down yet I still have a Blitz, or I can use it to open a hole for my soon-to-be ball carrier, or to drop the lucky git who ended up with the ball by accident.

If I had blocked that Black Orc, I would have had to use my Blitz on the ball carrier who is still in the middle of a (reduced by one Black Orc) cage. Against a classic cage, that means I end up making a one die anyway.
