Forget the money, the one thing that really puts you off driving in the UK is the traffic. Going up to the Bearded Snot took me 7 1/2 hours to drive less than 250 miles. Almost all of which was stuck in jams inspite of me avoiding the worst of the traffic. :pissed:

Worth it though :D

FWIW, our cheapest unleaded 'gas' works out around $4.75 per us gallon.
Average high street prices would bump that over $5.
And imagine, us Americans complain if it gets over $2.00 a gallon...

In California it was just recently over $2.00 per gallon, and we were in an uproar. Now it is back down to $1.50, and while we are still not happy about it, a 25% price reduction is pretty good.

1.50!?!?! Now I'm sure the oil companies are fixing the price. It's still $1.70 over here, and gas prices are always lower on the East coast. :pissed:

Must be nice. It's been about $1.40-$1.50 here in Oklahoma, and we have THE Conoco refinery just south of town...

Back to the topic, Toby seems to feel it works, but it's a one-trick pony. Once everyone sees it done once, they send someone to deal with it and concentrate on scoring.

There's really no downside to this strat.

You sent 2 catchers down low to sack their trower or intercept the pass. As soon as the ball is out or range you leave them lurking back there.

It gives you one Breakaway Touchdown every 4 kicks you take, that helps a lot because humans make a lot of mistakes on offence.

You also gotta remember that we Americans drive the big old SUV's and gas guzzling muscle cars...why, I don't know.

And, shush, Toby, you act like you started this thread or something! :P

Living in Melbourne (the city covering the largest amount of ground in the world :o also does things to your sence of space. One edge seems closer to other cities than it does to the other side. On the bright side it only costs a little under $4 to catch a string of busses around the city all day (but it won't let you cross the middle!

Actually, the aussies are way worse off than us country boys in America.
You are getting absolutely NO major cups down under. That's a shame. They need to give you an annual Koala Kup or something. Or the Walkabout Weekend or the Didjeridoo Death Bowl or the Croc Cup or the Outback Open or the...well, you get the idea.

I heard a rumour that GW Austrailia dropped the ball on that one - they don't like BB so didn't want to do a tourney.
