LRB 5 Starting League Rosters

The previous thread is now very clearly out of date with regards to LRB5. So I thought it would be nice to start up an alternative thread.

For LRB4 league rosters (which some leagues still use) check the original thread here.

To keep the thread relatively clutter free please only post your team list and possibly the logic behind any unusual choices or inducement money kept behind.

I will add to this original post as and when other coaches post up solid starting rosters of the teams I don't tend to play

Last of all, before we begin. These are league rosters, not tournament ones. There may well be differences between league and tournament team set up and I wouldn't presume to know so much about Tournament rosters.

With the above setup you can have 1 of the Pogoer, Chainsaw or Bomber (Not Looney) to start and have enough bribes to keep him on pitch for 3 drives. Or you can hire Nobbla/Fungus/Scrappa/Bomber + Bribe or any 2 of the secret weapon stars.
The SW Stars are much better when starting off with Goblins than the on roster versions as you get extra skills + flexibility in choice between which ones you want per match. You can even get Nobbla + Merc Goblin Chainsaw or Fungus + Merc Looney if you want to double up on a particular star.

Reroll denial is the name of the game here. FAME+2 combined with coaching staff (to negate those teams that like to start with 1+1) and the master chef should mean your opponents have to play with less rerolls than they anticipated.

Your 1.1 chaos roster is incorrect. It should be 20k in the bank, not 10k. Chaos rerolls are only 60k, not the 70k you upped the team from 1mil to 1.1

I don't see any use for 3FF. If it were me, I'd go with 1AC, 1 CL and I'd probably bank the last 10k tough you could buy a FF with it if you wish.

I think I'll try out some speedy greens:

Orcs 100
4 Blitzers
2 Blockers
1 Thrower
1 Lineorc
4 Goblins
4 Rerolls

The deep Goblin bench should keep the fouling going at full speed, even if some gobbos get tossed into the dungeon. Plus with 3 goblins on the field at a time, the other team should worry about marking them, making their line more vulnerable to the orcs. 4 rerolls makes the passing game a serious threat.

I like it but you could trade 2 Gobs for 1 BO. I only suggest this because it's easier to buy Goblins than it is to save up for another BO. This is especially true if you're losing Goblins while trying to save for that Blocker, which I always seem to do. :(

Very similar to a LRB4 (or earlier) starting line up, but starting wih a Cheerleader and an Assistant coach for their effects on the Kickoff table. 1 FF should be plenty and you won't loose money because it went down.

My 1m vamp list (very similar to Fen's):

2 Vamps
10 Thralls
5 Rerolls
0 Fan Factor
30k Banked towards Apothecary

Gives you more thralls to play with, allowing you to keep 11 on the pitch for longer.

Also, is it or me or does Fen's list not equal 1mill?
Vampire
