Mummy with block rolls doubles...
Mummy with Block as his first skill just rolled doubles on skill #2.
I figure dodge is a no-brainer as it makes him a rock in midfield with a view to acquiring Guard on skill #3.
Any other ideas on how to build him with this doubles roll?

That's probably what I'd take, though looking outside of that...
You could go with Jump Up, with Break Tackle coming next - if it's in the middle of the pitch, you're hunting it with an ST5 guy.

If you take Dodge, then I'd strongly consider Break Tackle as third skill. That would make him a real threat for cages. Even if you never use it, your opponents will have to plan around it.

Dodge, then your choice of Guard, Break Tackle, and Stand Firm, in any order!

Dodge is the soundest choice. Sure Feet might be okay.

I always forget that you need to make an agility roll to block with jump up now which wouldn't be good on a mummy even with the +2 mod. So I would say dodge for sure. Your oponents are going to curse your blodging mummy.

Frenzy could be hilarious, and add to their movement in a way.
Diving Tackle would make those elves sweat.
But Dodge is likely the best, and comboes well with BT.

For me, it'd be Dodge now and Break Tackle next.
This will force opponents to have to keep their cage well away from this guy, which should put them into occassionally less optimal positions then they would like. Otherwise, there's a 75% this guy can strut into a cage and throw a 2D on the carrier, even if one of the corners has Guard. If both corners have Guard, it's still a 1D Block. Not much better cage-breaking options for an Undead defense.

Apart from cage breaking, that 2+ dodge is an asset in his own (albeit short ranged).
Ag3, hybrid team benefit from a reliable, mobile sledgehammer, especially against bash teams who can suck the Mummy in a scrum with lots of Guard and big bruisers.

Tackle... smacking the non dodgy stuff over.
Frenzy... allows some movement with this guy. Especially if you plan the Guard, Standfirm route.
I appear to favour Frenzy for slow moving big guys (move 2-4, 5+ and these guys are rocking).

Re: Mummy with block rolls doubles...
While dodge seems the most sensible choice, frenzy is so much fun on a mummy!
it is quite effective too, as you will rarely be in a position where the 2nd block won't be a 2-dice. And since you have block, it is not very risky.
And Frenzy means more blocks and more CAS ans more SPP... That's what mummies are there for
But it is true that dodge will make it very hard to knock down as a ST5 blodger is a nightmare
