Doubles on a Dodge BOB: Block or Side Step
That simple. Do I keep the double and take Side Step, which will eventually be awesome but isn't very good without Block, or do I take Block, on the basis that Stand Firm is almost as good and would be a #4 selection? I intend to play in a tournament with them next week, so there's no time to skill him again.
I'm voting Meringue, because I wanted to go to City Deli for dinner, but my honey has been hankering for Brian's Eatery for a week, and they don't have nearly the meringue that City Deli has.
It's a double-5, if it matters. I didn't figure MA or AV to be an upgrade over the BOB-track plus Dodge.

A Dodge BOB is mediocre. A Dodgestep BOB would be okay, but rare. A Blodge BOB would be good. A Blodgestep BOB would be excellent, and rare. A Guard/Blodgestep BOB would be epic.

I think I'd go Blodge since you could always pick up stand firm instead of side step.
Although sidestep would be more useful, standfirm is just as annoying

Re: Doubles on a Dodge BOB: Block or Side Step
After playing a couple of Games with a Sidestep (no block) BoB i could still kick myself in the arse that I havent picked sidestep instead of Block on my 2nd rookie BoB.
Sidestep on those is awesome especially if they reach Block and Guard later.
But then on the other hand... you wasted already the first double on Dodge so the chance to reach with him a positional skill + Guard and Dodge are now rather limited anyways.
I think taking dodge basicly is removing your chance to take a positional skill cause you should get guard on him within the first 3 skills (since then you dont need it on your mobile blitzers that much)

Strangely, sidestep.
At the end of the day, with dodge and sidestep, I wouldn't want to be blocking him anyway....and if you don't use him as an active blocker during the tournament, then he will still make an excellent roadblock.
Also, SS'ers for your Los are amazing in tournaments to kill 1 turning chances.

Voted block, it could be cool with blodge, ss, guard, though... I just wouldn't have enough patience for that.

Voted SS , plenty of time for him to get block and guard.
Then he'll be awesome.

I vote Side Step. BOB's are roadblocks and with Dodge and Sidestep he does a better job at it than with Blodge.

Thanks, guys! Bit the bullet, took Side Step.
