I'm leery of using Eldril, as I don't have much experience with Hypnotic Gaze and don't need the mobility in particular. But I can see how useful he'd be. I quite like Moranion in mirror-matches, but I'm not sold on Stars here, given that the replacement value on my team is pretty high. Morg is another intriguing option: lacking Guard, and facing a coach with good blocking tendencies, having that ST6 might be a game changer. Another option would be to take a Wizard and a Master Chef: both of us have 3 TRRs, and changing that to 5 for me and 1 for him could swing a half pretty dramatically. I don't foul much, but I might make an exception if I had the bribes against a mobility team. Then again, playing off my type might not be very smart. Babes are okay, as are Apos. I tend to favor an Apo over 2x Babe, but that's not set in stone.

Voted pie. No guarantees I'll use the most popular one (you don't need to read that if you know me), and I won't post a final resolution until the game is done. No sense in giving Alibaba a heads-up. Still haven't scheduled the match. Revoting enabled.

It just opens up so many more options, harder for your opponent to hide the ball, block running lanes etc I know you said you weren't comfortable using it but if you have any other elf teams try and get a practice game or 2 with inducements or try to find some elf games from the FC as I'm sure eldril must have been picked there

As I mentioned before, I'd go Morg.

He completely changes the dynamic of the High Elf team, and that HE team is very short on blodge for the TV it is at (only 5 blodge at 2.25k TV!). Morg can do some real damage, and if you get some KO's each drive, even though he has a larger bench, you can outnumber him on the pitch.

In addition...only one strip ball. If worst came to worst, you can always give the big lump of lard the ball, and march down the pitch with it.

But wizard and Eldril is probably the sensible option.

Took Morg, lost on a timeout and a bad couple turns.

I generally find I play poorly in elimination matches, still trying to figure out why.

Morg was great.
