First skill - doubles on a Krox for a mature team

My lizzie team now has a TR around 220, and I have been waiting forever for my krox to get his first skill. He hasn't been doing well without block and that's what I was planning on getting... but I roll doubles.

Should I still get block or go with frenzy or leader (I have 3 TRR)? Big guys can use leader rerolls on themselves, right?

Frenzy would be a liability without Block. Stand Firm could be of use. A side stepping Krox could also be interesting, because you could better control the LOS.

Stand Firm would be my choice, sf and block limits their ability to assist and if he gets 3 advances, sf block and guard makes him able to let the sauri hit ogres and trolls.

I'd choose Stand Firm. Get block next and then the 3rd skill could be break tackle.

The Big Guy/Leader question is debatable, I'd say no, but apparently the BBRC are addressing it.

i would take tacle on first skill (with prehensile tail!!)
On a double, may be Frenzy or dodge (with Break tacle later)
or sure feet could be nice, and the only Stengh Trait can be usefull as well.

All this depend of the way you want to use your Kroxigor.

Mine is calles Kro Ko, let them introduce themself and we will take their children and sell them, what do you think of it?

i am always a fan of block for almost all my players first skill. my Bulls and Hobbo's always go block unless there is a really good reason.

big guy v big guy the player with block has the advantage.

(sorry to labour the point there but it just makes sense)

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think I want to "waste" a doubles on block. Stand firm looks like a good choice, but I'm still not sure...
