Ghoul skill

I just got a ghoul with his second skill and he rolled doubles. He has block already.
Of note: during this last game I tried throwing him the ball (to get a comp. for a wight to gain a skill also) however he failed to catch it(accurate) on three turns, two of which I used team rerolls. The ball finally bounces to him and he gets it and then fails the sprint to score the TD. Thank Nuffle that my opponent's Skink flubs the ball so he was able to Blitz him and score. Game goes into OT and once again #16 Ghoul has the ball and sprints for the TD, and of coarse he rolls a one AGAIN and stuns himself, though luckily a saurus rolls double skulls and a highly decorated wight(39 spp) goes in for the win.
For his skill I have thought about Jump Up, or Leader (maybe a reverse leader, some who sucks so bad that his teammates get a reroll because they are trying to make up for his mistakes!) as we only have 3 rerolls right now. I am also trying to come up with a name for this Bonehead. Thanks

You could do worse than choose Pass, then use him as a Quarterback. Spread the rest of your ghouls accross the field and push forward on all fronts. Wait until you see which of your other three ghouls has teh best chance to score.
Alternatively how about Dump off? play an option running game using two Ghouls.
I dunno...just a couple of ideas. Jump up could be very irritating for opponents of course.

pass would be a good option, assuming you have other ghouls to throw the ball to. dump off would also work, although under different circumstances. i tried taking hail mary pass on a ghoul once, but he didnt survive long enough to ever use it, so i dont know how effective that would be. but it sure would come in handy when you have to throw the entire length of the field. taking jump up really doesnt help too much, but NOS could be very useful when the cage collapses around you. but unless you want to turn him into another blitzer w/ either dauntless or frenzy, i would recommend a passing skill.

I would do either dump off or pass.

Make a thrower out of your ghoul. Begin with pass. When you have reached next skill you can give him sure hands, if it´s a double accurate would be the best choice. But the best would be an 11 (+AG). That´s what I think about it.

I got a Thrower Ghoul in my Undead team;
Got Pass as his first skill
Accurate second
For his third skill I got aging

, so I gave him Sure Hands rather than block, as I was planning

Pass or Nerves of Steel, depending on what your other players look like.

Sure hands is something all Ghouls should have. In my mbbl game recently i have failed to pick up the ball, on 3's, 5 out of 6 times so far, i have one more chance. Needless to say the score is 9-0 his favor

Only take pass if you are going to look at playing a throwing game, your normal re-rolls can take care of it, if its something you might use only once per game, a much better option would be stand firm, or even sure hands, stand firm for protecting you from the failed dodge, sure hands for the safety on pick up and defence against strip ball.

I would have taken Accurate. Pass "only" gives you a ReRoll Where you instead can use a team RR. Accurate helps you more, I think.
