dwarf vs "stymie" nurgle
Any advice for a budding dwarf coach against a nurgle team, or are all dwarf matches just classic grind and kill all menz.??

Depending on the TV it's either super easy or super hard.
Low TV just block all his guys down, don't care about giving up blocks as he has no Block and will have to burn RR to death.
High TV get owned by claw.

Is there a dwarf strategy / team building thread. I wasn't able to find it.

Wizard, Saw, Bribe would be a good start.
Your opponent is very short of Block, you should be able to knock him down a lot. The only properly developed player is the Beast, I suggest you take him out if you can.
Jimmy's suggestion to take Morg (who can go toe to toe with the Beast) is also not a bad idea.
Hope that helps.

Re: dwarf vs "stymie" nurgle
I thought the Dwarves would have a certain style vs a certain team:
VS
Humans:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
Orcs:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
elves and skaven:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
Chaos and undead:
Humans:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
Lizardmen Vampires and Ogres:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
Dwarves:
block LOS, form cage and move up the pitch grinding they way forward until you score hoping for a 2-1 or 2-0 victory.
Have I missed anything?

Good analysis, in that respect they are like every single team in Bloodbowl!

Depends on how you play I guess. Don't see anything with AV7 or less good in the grinding game though.Jimmy Fantastic wrote:Good analysis, in that respect they are like every single team in Bloodbowl!

That's some Nurgle team. I'd steer clear of a chainsaw. It just adds an element of chance and a player that's easy to remove. Oh, and don't dodge a lot against all that Diving Tackle...

Halfling hot pot will get rid of that single reroll!
180 to spend on...
A bribe to foul
80k left for?
Boomer!
20k left.
A bomb on the beast knocks it over, a bomb near the beast knocks it over on a 4+... lots of fun.
