On a dwarf team, who are the best players to give mighty blow to and why?

The slayers can take advantage of frenzy and will probably be blitzing a lot, the blockers will be in the thick of things and have tackle, and the blitzers higher mobility means that they can more easily go after the weaker targets. On the other hand, the blockers might be just standing around a lot, caging up, etc. And you only get one blitz per turn, so if both slayers/blitzers have mighty blow it might go to waste.

So if you have a few mighty blow to put on players, who should get it?

Who gets Mighty Blow?

SunDevil is correct, Dwarfs don't have a massive amount of great skill options aside from the runners. So for most the biggest choice is do you take guard or MB 1st.

Yeah... But we're talking a tourney here, so there's only so much mighty blow to go around. I'm not asking who should take it and who should take something else. I'm saying some people get it, but I can't give everyone a skill, some people get nothing, so who should get it?

I would give it to the Slayers.
But a full guard is maybe more efficient.

Agreed, Slayers should get the Mighty Blow and everyone else gets Guard

Do you have a maximum of two MBs? How many more skills do you have to go around?

6 skills/max of 2 repeating skills is fairly common around here. In that case I would give the MBs to the slayers, but I've seen it on blitzers and blockers, too. I just think the greater chance of a knockdown (against most players) makes the slayers preferable.

It's a bit complicated, but I had a lot of money to spend on skills. It's spent throughout the rounds, but I'm deciding what to give my players for the last game.

I have one runner with block, 1 runner with blodge and +1AG, all the blitzers and blockers have guard and stand firm, and the slayers just have stand firm.

I have 5 skills to assign for the last game, so I figured mighty blow was all that's left, or possibly guard for the slayers. But I can't decide who should get the skills.

Also, I can only give one more skill to each player, so I couldn't make the slayers MB guard.

I would not put Mighty blow on blitzer.
For 2 reasons: they are mobile (agi3 & mv5) i perfer to give them guard, to bring my guards where i need.
they don't have tackle or frenzy => they will have less opportunity to use MB than linemen or slayer.

MB slayers, guard blitzers.

Have you considered kick off return for a runner?
