Big Guys

Now I seem to have come a bit unstuck atm with regard to big guys. I have a skaven and choas dwarf team in FUMBBL, no big guy on either team. Now I can't seem to cop with them at all once they get pro and block. My skaven after a great start have come to a standstill, i lose lots of players and alaways get out numbered. Now I am managing to hold out for draws atm but lucks not with me and I can't seem to win, purely because I am playing drives with 6 or 5 players, many of which are skilless cause they keep having to get replaced.
Now a big problem is a big guy. It seems the only way I can feasably stop the menace is to get one of my own. Someone suggested avoiding them. Now I have to put 3 players on the LOS, bit hard to avoid that. The other problem with this, is that it leaves them free to rampage wherever they want to on the pitch.
My choas dwarfs had no problems to start with until, other teams started picking up guard, rendering my own guard skill rather inept at helping. Also my complete lack of double skills means I don't have anyone with dauntless on either team.
Ive never really had a problem with big guys before becuase I used to only play undead and having 2 mummies sorted the problem out nicely. So is there a way to cope playing against a big guy without taking one yourself? This is especially so for the lower av teams of 7 who get crunched. High and dark elves cope a bit better with av8 so can take the battering a bit better and can score with less players anyway.
As far as I can see it things were better without the big guys, as it looks like I might have to take some anyway.
Now I also guess there must be a way to cope with the big guys, especially with skaven as a lot of people won't take a wild rat ogre. So any advice would be helpful, cause I don't want to take a troll or whatever just to remain competative.
