Skeleton.....5,3,2,7..Regenerate
Skeleton.....5,3,2,7..Regenerate

Will Freeboot:

Count von Drakenborg......6,5,4,9...Block, Dodge, Hypnotic Gaze, Regenerate

Here is my strategy...

1) Keep at the minimum 2 Longbeards on Count von Drakenborg at all times....one for the Hypnotic gaze, and the other for Tackle.

2) Keep Guards on the Mummies

3) Block the Blodge Wights with Longbeards as much as possible.

4) Keep Troll Slayers on the Mummies, to ensure that Piling On is kept to a minimum.

5) Pray my 7 movement runner can stay the heck away from Luthor.

My opponent has already stated that he doesn't care to win this match, he only wants to cripple me for my next game  Any suggestions or tactics for beating him and suffering minimal casualties?

Though I would add.....

We are using LRB rules, and he is a new coach, only out for blood (he picked the right game for it). Any advanced tactics I could use to outsmart him? I typically try a hook play where I have my 7 movement runner on one end of the field, and my passer on the other. When the lane is clear, I run over, hand off/pass the ball, and run like hell with my 7MA runner. Then try to position a few players in the diagonal line from the crowd to my Runner.

It tends to work well, because no one EVER expects a dwarf to move 9 squares.

or, you could try to break him, make a strong line....also, what is your reroll/ff count

Too bad only the slow longbeards have tackle, would be nice against those ghouls. Make sure your ma 7 runners is able to be a deep safety on defense.

I wouldnt put the slayers anywhere near the mummies unless you intend to frenzy them off the pitch, Piling on at S5 versus AV8 will get them murdered,
I suggest you nail the blodge wights, and the ghouls and surround luthor and kick him to death, if he regens ......do it again. :smoking:

I would be attacking the guard wight instead and use blitzes with movement left over for the mummies, a mummy that has to stand up can only blitz someone standing adjacent or 1 square away. Without the guard wight, st is really more on the dwarves side.

Personally I would keep the troll slayers away from the mummies. Let your longbeards and blitzers with guard habdle them. They can take the hits. Piling On + AV 8 = OUCH TIME! On offense maybe take them on with a slayer or two but if he gets to hit first he's gonna cream your slayers!

Instead, on defense I would keep the slayers near you runner(s) so the can swoop in and snatch up the ball that your LB's pop loose.
