Hello all
My dwarven runner got + ag on his first skill roll. This is a rookie team with only 3 skills. Just wondering how you would suggest I develop him. I could go for accurate then block and make a passer. I have seen people take dump off but I have never used this skill. I guess a doubles roll will be dodge, although I could go for nerves of steel or strong arm. What do you think?

I would develop him as a runner! lol He needs block and ona doubles he should get dodge. He'll be a fine ball carrier...not a passer. YOu may want to give him dump off down the road but for now I'd use his AG 4 to dodge free and head for the end zone, not to pass to less worthy dwarfs.

I agree with Pariah, Block as his next skill, then Pro. On doubles take Dodge, a second double should go to Sure Feet (if you get so lucky).

Consider yourself blessed....AGI4 on a dwarf team is rare indeed

*has a runner who got AG5...and a blitzer with AG4*
Block, Dump Off, kick (because its useful, and he's one of the few players likely to gain SPPs fast enough to get beyond "Needing" skills.)
Doubles go on Dodge and sprint, or possibly catch.

Just to go down the line with all the others, he should be your reciever. The other runner should be becoming your passer, accurate and pass wiill be all that guy needs, as your receiver wil not be too far away when being passed to.
So, for your AG4 guy: Pretty much as everyone said, but on doubles I would consider leap. Make sure to have a reroll handy for those attempts, but it will scare the hell out of your opponents. Catch is probably not that useful as you will be catching on a 2+ anyway. Just avoid tacklezones.
Or if you like the more conservative way, dodge on a double.
Try dump-off, if you can in any way move a blitzer along on your break-out attempt. Then, if your reciever gets blitzed, dump it off to that blitzer.

don't make him your receiver! He's much to usefull to put him in a position where he can be blocked and fouled! make him your ball handler and the other a receiver if you need it

Block & Dodge are your best choices. AG4 can pass the ball at a pinch anyway, and passing isn't a big part of the dwarven game.

Getting a runner into a passer is not that important for Dwarfs and certainly not useful enough to waste your AG4 runner on. Make him the ballcarrier; get him block, dodge on doubles and maybe dump-off or Pro (never used Pro myself, should try some time...)
Especially when this guy has his second skill (block or dodge) make sure to score with the other runner and the blitzers as well, else you'll start to depend too much on this one guy, and you will only have an inexperienced runner to score with if something happens to him.
