What to give a Human M9 Blitzer?

I got 4 rerolls so I doesn't really need ballhandling skills, instead I'm thinking of one of these: Shadowing, Strip Ball, Dodge (doubles) or Tackle.

You don't actually have Tackle as an option in the poll. I would probably go for Dodge on a double. I think that Tackle is probably the best option on a normal roll, and then follow it with Shadowing.

He has to go with Shadowing first, as you can't expect another double when you need it. Tackle he can get on an ordinary upgrade...which won't be too long with a movement 9 Blitzer. Same with Strip Ball. Save Tackle and strip ball for ordinary upgrades. Now dodge is much more tempting, but I would probably go with Shadowing, with dodge as next double choice.

Errr.... Shadowing is a general skill, so the blitzer doesn't need a double to take it. That's why I said take Dodge on a double and Tackle/Shadowing on the next two ordinary skills.

I don't see a poll entry for "career threatening injury" ;)

Doh! Right of course Mart. I had a brain fart this morning. Normal go tackle, then shadowing. Double go dodge.

I would have voted tackle but its not there!
You don't want to take a strength skill? Mighty blow or something

Oops I forgot tackle...

Well I thought I would go for either Strip Ball or Shadowing, Shadowing would be pretty much awesome but strip ball means I got an alot easier time to get people to drop the ball.

Now you have convinced me for Shadowing but I got one worry, isn't he very probable to get crunched by other players while behind enemy lines?.

The job of a player with Shadowing is to draw the blitz. That stops him blitzing somewhere else so you can hold a thiner line.

That makes having 2 players with shadowing guard the same victim so vicious. :)

Shadowing!

Defentily (sp) shadowing!

This make the MV 9 (Play to your strengths) much more effective.

Blitzers are good for annoying the ball carrier/receiver... Shadowing describes that pretty effectivly I think!

I agree also that Shadowing effectivly gives you another Blitz, as your not hitting the ball carrier, more carnage :D

My vote goes with Tackle, but since it's not an option, i voted Shadowing.

On doubles Dodge
