Double for beastman ball carrier
One of my beastmen who already had Big Hand rolled a double for his second skill. I had intended to take Block or Sure Hands, but given that I'd rolled a double I thought I'd go for something different.
I chose Foul Appearance, so that as the ball carrier he is harder to knock over. (It'll also help with defense also, obviously.)
Any thoughts about whether this was sensible?
Also, shall I head for Block then Sure Hands as his next skills?
Cheers,
Martyn

Depends how you play him, if you use him as a ball carrier protected within a cage then the Foul appearance isn't going to help that much as he should be well covered. I dont pass much with this sort of team, so i'd probably have taken either dodge to break free of any troublesome cage breakers,or sure feet to help reduce the risk of those 2 gfi's for the winning touchdown

You might also consider dodge; it will help him stay alive and move the ball... You will also be able to move into a tight spot; pick up the ball and dodge out.
It might not be as usefull as pass or NoS sometimes are, but overall it will give you some safety.
If I had to choose between pass and NoS I would go for NoS, btw, but that is mostly because I don't want to pass with my Chaos team, but would do so in the case of the TZ Pick-Up action thingy

Well, with Big Hand he always picks up on a 2+ anyway, but I'd have gone for NOS as well.

too bad you can't still give stunty to players like this...that was always tons of fun.
since that's no longer an option i'd suggest perhaps nerves of steel.

NoS doesn't work for picking up the ball, as some of the above posts seem to suggest.
If he's a running back, go Dodge or Very Long Legs.
If he's a QB, go Pass or Accurate.
If you plan to play him on defense as your guy to pick up the ball after it's stripped, go Big Hand.

As stated above, he'd use the Big Hand to pick it up in a lot of TZ, then NOS to pass it out.
Edit - I see Jehrod re-read the thread as I was posting a reply.
