Use Altavista.com's Babelfish to do the translation. It's not perfect, but it makes it readable. :)

Best,

Dain, great compilation of def/att placements. Really a nice bunch of useful stuff, plus we could be discussing formations, quoting your examples in any future posts.

Nice work.

Thanks ;)
all work is already on my game book, just need few time to put it on a html file. Be sure you will be warned when it is ok!

nobody have ever seen such images? samples? or just defense names?
I'm not the best bbowler in the world ( 8) ) and my tactics could need improvements...

Just one suggestion, Dain.

If you redo this in html or something else, maybe you can please check it for a printable version ? Right now the pages dont fit on a DinA4 page.

Thanks

trav: Printing that out and checking it every turn will not help you speed up game play :)

dain:
i'm missing my favorite 3-5-3 defence. Very effective if you have ST4 players on the 2 weak spots. Looks like this:

I think your 3-5-3 would be better if you moved your widezone players ahead two spaces. It would take pressue off of your "weak spots".

I never thought of using this " helpfile" while playing... I just need it as background for my theoretical learning of BB from the great masters... like from Tzun Su´s " Art of War".

Thanks, Dain, for considering a print version, too.

Good point. Against other teams i move the widezone up one square (two brings them into quicksnap range, i do this only if i outnumber opponents, need the pressure or feel very lucky). Against speed teams (wood elfs here), i need the widezone Chaosdwarfs to be able to move back if the (here) woodelfs break through. You really need the tackle skill then.

The problem I see with that defense is, unless your BCs have standfirm, a dauntless wood elf might open up a wide enough gap to rush half a dozen players through, even covering your "rear blockers". Having 3 + receivers in your back field is quite a gamble...
