WE Team for extremely short league

We play in a very short league with a mere 5-6 regular games followed by 3 round playoffs. I have played amazons two seasons now and want to move on. Since I bought some of the shadow forge elves (who look great) I want to try and elf team and the woodies are most appealing to me. As such I am looking to some somewhat radical lists for them. Here are two I am considering. Let me know what you think.
Team 1
12 Line Elves
3 RR
1 FF
Team 2
11 Line Elves
1 War Dancer
2 RR
1 FF
Or of course I could go with the standard Woodie list too. Thoughts?

How about
2 War Dancers
9 Line elves
3 FF
2 TRR
Starting with both WDs gives you a big edge.

It is a possibility. I was a bit enamored by the thought of starting with 12 elves, but the two WDs is very strong as well.

I'd go for this. If it's only a short league then the low FF won't hurt you too much.

If I were to go the 2 WD list I would do the following.
2 WD
9 LE
2 RR
1 FF
Bank 20000
This will all but guarantee you will have enough money after the first game for the apoth. If you role well it is just icing on the cake. Conceivably you could pick up your first catcher after game one this way. I would probably do the apoth any way, but you could.

On Second thought the 3 FF is better since it will probably pay for it self in the +1 for the first game and then over the long haul.

Hmmm... I think I'd go with the FF 3 over putting some money in the bank. I think that most teams in a short league will have a low FF, but probably not FF 1. Giving yourself FF 3 would make you at least competitive on the Kick Off Table.
