it's my human blitzer, what did you choose? :
7348 block,+1AG, strip ball 28XP.

i'll choice pass block/sure hand on a normal roll; dodge on a double.

what do you think about this.

he's my most experienced player.
thx!

Seem like good choices to me. Don't think, there are better skills available.

Hard to beat sure hands there. Pro works well with high AG and with players likely to throw blocks, plus with an AG increase should he roll a double in the future you may want to consider leap, and pro is the only skill that will allow you a re-roll on this. However it's not as reliable as sure hands for what may be the trickiest roll you have to make.

sure hand is against strip ball, not for roll a ball pick up!

I think its the best choices you have listed there.

I would consider tackle...

but that's because I'd always prefer tackle over strip ball. They do kind of overlap

Sorry, forgot too mention a double roll, I would go for catch.

MA 7 & AG 4, he would make a good receiver, plus if you do take pass block in the future rerolling that interception roll could be vital!

Not with a few TD's as a receiver?

On a double you could think about leap (you can use rr therefor) if you know how to play with a wardancer or alternatively stand firm. Then you can also try some risky dodges without causing a turnover. Leap also helps if you want to play him like a receiver.

Depending on your league and the teams you play against consider guard as a very useful skill on a normal roll as well. You don't have to do all with only him, sometimes others need an assist (and SPP), too. Your blitzer can dodge there to help out!

Oh, and don't forget ageing. He is primed to niggle and fail his roll before the importent games

On a normal skill I'd take tackle - so he can blitz the dodgers who don't have the ball.

On a double I'd be very tempted by Stand Firm. Not only does it give you confidence when dodging but is very useful in conjunction with Strip Ball. He can't get pushed away from the ball after he's knocked it loose - and can always try to dodge into 6 TZ to pickup the ball for a BS play.

Leap on a double to make use of that Agility.

Sure Hands is never a bad skill to take on a 4 AG player. Leap would make him a great defensive player, Dodge would make him a formidiable offensive running back. It depends on which area of the game you have more trouble with as a coach.

Guard on a normal roll to get an assist anywhere with just a 2+ dodge, and leap on a double for your very own wardancer.
