Post by Mirascael »

fumbbl open league:

Code: Select all

FF: 14, RR: 6
Treeman 2 6 1 10 (Rookie)
Lineelf 7 3 4 7 Block
Thrower 6 3 5 5 Pass, Accurate, Sure Hands, Safe Throw, Dump Off, Leap, AG+1
(AV-2, MA-1, NI, mng, will probably be retired, though AG 5 Sure Hands Leap rocks)
Thrower 7 3 4 7 Pass
Catcher 11 2 4 7 Catch, Dodge, Block, Dauntless, MA+2, NI
Catcher 11 2 5 7 Catch, Dodge, Block, Side Step, AG+1, MA+2, NI
Catcher 10 2 5 7 Catch, Dodge, Block, Side Step, Leap, AG+1, MA+1
Catcher 9 3 5 7 Catch, Dodge, Block, Side Step, Jump Up, ST+1, AG+1
Wardancer 8 3 6 6 Leap, Dodge, Block, Side Step, Tackle, Pass Block , AG+2, NI, AV-1
Wardancer 8 4 5 7 Leap, Dodge, Block, ST+1, AG+1
Question:
Side Step next or Tackle?
What do you think?

Definitely frenzy on a double, as it goes very well with ST4. Otherwise, i guess i'd go for side step.

A question for you though. How many games have you played and how many players did you have to retire before getting an AG6 warD, a ST4 AG5 warD, an AG5 thrower, an MA11 catcher, an MA11 AG5 catcher, an MA10 AG5 catcher, and a ST3 AG5 catcher? I'm guessing it should take about 100 to 200 games...

And the other obvious question: aren't you bored to death of this team?

Zombie is right Frenzy is whatever you could wish for such a BB machine. Sidestep is a good choice for normal roll.

Just one question:

How many doubles and atribute upgrades do you get?????????????

Don't worry, next skill for that Lineelf will be Dirty Player!
The first Lineelf after a very long time who survived the first game for this team (I think he has 3 games now). The last one died since I had to apoth a rock-kill prior to the first kick-off, 1st action of the game was a Blitz against him which resulted in his immediate death. I never even had the chance to perform any action with him not even a simple move. Even more annoying, I had saved cash to acquire him for about 10 games!
Team has been rather lucky with the positional players though, except that the former tree suffered a kill which the apoth failed to cure.

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... am_id=5162

The team has made 115 games so far.

games of the players: 7/3/44/0/14/22/14/27/30/10

They only could field 4-5 players for quite a long time once (though the former AG 5 WD who turned into a Zombie after that failed GFI-Leap with the failed apoth) was sufficient to win games. The recent upgrades have been admittably insane (one Catcher still misses Side Step due to that). With the exception of the Thrower, all injuries came from early ageing.
And the other obvious question: aren't you bored to death of this team?
Well, it's not that easy to survive in fumbbl, almost every game this team stands at the brink of destruction. But the AG 6 Wardancer is definitely worth it. Interceptions at 3+ (theoretically) are fun indeed!
Problem with this team has always been the low FF, dropped to 9 twice after some incredible winning streaks. As you can see, I didn't take Sure Feet or Sprint and will not do that in the future (personally, I don't believe in one-turning), but I had to take MA, of course. I'm currently trying to rebuild that team, but, as long as it has such Wardancers (and a healthy Warcatcher as well), it would be a shame to retire it.

Is FUMBBL susceptable to cheating? I was thinking of joining it but team like this would be no fun to play against.

I think you ought to make him an assistant coach and quit thinking about his next skill.

Snots,

I have only recently joined FUMBBL, and I can tell you this, I am already hooked, in the space of 4 days I have played 24 games!

Every game I have played so far has been played in a friendly atmosphere, and have been throughly enjoyable.

And most coaches tend too pit teams of simmilar ratings too play against each other, so if you did play this team you would no doubt have an equally good team.
