when to hire a chainsaw?

Against what teams do think it is useful?
Elflike teams? to get to a Wardancer? or are they too dodgy?
or Orc like teams, to get through their armour...
i am thinking about hiring one against WElves, smart? or use my money otherwise?

What team are you playing? Cockerel composition, your league, ...
or are you asking just general?
My dwarfs use their Chainsaw (ag+1 Longbeard) on ALL enemys (mostly prone big guys)
Since I get money and already have a full Cockerel and 5 RR i waste the money to keep my tr lower

I use a chainsaw against woodies (If the league rules allow my humans to use one). It's a really easy way to bring a wardancer down- blodge means nothing to this device!

and I'm okay. I sleep al night and play Blood Bowl all day ...
I would use a chainsaw against any opposition, apart maybe gobs / flings
In our league there is allways a player in any team that deserves some less hight...
Not allowed yet unfortunately
