Lawquoter,

How big is KC? I can't believe there is no one else there who plays BB. Maybe it's just a case of not knowing where to look.

Cheers... :smoking:
And I thought I was the only Blood Bowl playing archaeologist. Nice to know I'm not alone :D

On the question though haven't got a clue about Cambridge BB groups, or Kent ones for that matter. But Neil if you can spare an evening in London once you start uni it'd be cool to get a game in face to face.

To Al the Trowel!
Doesnt take long to bump into fellow mudscratchers. I work full-time for the Uni field unit but would be cool to pop down to London sometime to get my arse kicked by some professionals. I'll let you know when i'm free and we can try and sort something out. You with PCA? - we no doubt have some mutual aquaintences........ :)

Nope AOC - not sure if we count as professionals lol.

But yeah I'm sure we'll have some acquaintances in common - there's no other industry quite so incestuous in my experience.

Always feel sorry for London diggers. The rents are as bad as Cambridge and you have to dig DEEP STRAT! Give me simple cut&fill out in the sticks anyday....

They are archaeologists - I too can take common words and make them seem incomprehensible if I talk about the technical nature of my work: I am a mathematician.

Bah pussy rural sh*te it ain't archaeology if ain't 5 metres deep!

(15 feet for our transatlantic friends).

Two words for the country bumpkins - single context! And I'll leave it at that before we really lose the audience. :D

And on the maths /me agree with Amber Gambler - there's a reason we studided dirt digging, and it's cos we can't do sums

At least you can go and get something decent for your dinner I suppose, rather than the limp sarnie knocked up in 2 seconds flat before you run to the van. I'm trying to digitise a single context site into AutoCad this minute, its a F@#k$ng nightmare! Urban is real digging I must admit but you'll soon yearn the easy life!

Did the archeologists intentionally take over the "Feeling lonesome..." thread, or am I reading too much into things?

Sorry Skummy,
When you spend your life travelling the globe desecrating foriegn treasures and punching Nazis into aeroplane propellors it can get lonely....
